Sunday Pamper: Halo Hair Extensions

Can you think of a better way to spend a Sunday than having your hair done, a manicure and enjoying a massage, all whilst eating cake, drinking prosecco and chatting with a bunch of friends?

Nope nor me! Sometimes there's just nothing better than indulging in a bit of pampering, and a few weeks ago that's exactly what I did with a bunch of bloggers and the Halo Hair Extension guys.

The team at Halo put on a fantastic event at the Cornerhouse to celebrate the launch of their newest addition to their hair extension family - the halo.

I was first up to get a massage... it was bliss... as you'd imagine.

The lovely Anouskha getting her halo ;)

Anna's turn!

I've never seen anything like the Halo before. True to its name, the 100% Indian Remy hair sits on a ring called the 'miracle wire' which is simply placed on your head, tucked just behind your ears, leaving you to pull through your natural hair with a tail comb to cover the wire.

It's ingenious. I can't stress how easy this was to put in, and how quickly the lace weft blended into my hair. The teeny 'wire' is translucent so you can't see it in your hair line and it's flexible too so doesn't pull taut against your scalp. I forgot it was in until I got outside and the kind Manchester winds reminded me. Halo stayed strong on my head like a proud crown, and I wasn't worried it was going to come off. Result!!

Before...

After!

I'm wearing the #4 Chocolate Brown 20" halo.

In action out with the girls...

What would be your ideal pamper day? Do you wear hair extensions?

  1. Hair extensions are inexpensive and easy to apply. They come in several colors and lengths. A wide range of brands and types is available in the best hair salons that do balayage near me, so be sure to shop around before you buy.
